Located in the locality of Ovidiu, 15 kilometers from the city of Constanta, ASTEK S.A., the ASTEK paints factory, has a production capacity of 30,000 tones per year. This includes the production room, the storage room and the research laboratory with a total surface of 2,400 square meters. The company is aware of the fact that the high quality of its products can be achieved by infrastructure, research and training of the staff within the company. Thus, considerable investments have been made in the research laboratories, high-performance equipment for the factory endowment, in the car park and in the training of the 80 employees of the company.

The SR EN ISO 9001/2001 certification granted in 2003 represents an additional guarantee regarding the quality of the products offered by ASTEK. Raw materials, as well as the company products are analyzed and tested in the research laboratory before being launched on the market. The physical-chemical analyses laboratory is accredited by RENAR according to SR EN ISO � CEI 17025/2001. As far as the territorial distribution is concerned, ASTEK products are delivered through our distributors network, in almost the entire country. (see the chapter Coverage page)

Our main objective is to launch new products in the interior decorations area and some products for the maintenance and protection of the building materials in order to increase efficiency, by lowering the manual labor costs per each built square meter.
